About me
Other areas of focus include substance use (either recovering from addiction or being an affected family member), anxiety, stress, avoidant behavior, life transitions, healing from trauma or abuse, mens issues, and lesbian/gay/bisexual mental health. For children, I provide play therapy, which can address issues such as divorce, bereavement, or previous abuse or violence in the home. My general style of working is depth-oriented, warm, and down to earth, and I enjoy working with anyone sincerely desiring to grow and change. My office, conveniently located at the corner of Market and Montgomery, is private and wheelchair-accessible. I received my clinical training in San Francisco at the UCSF AIDS Health Project, the USF Center for Child and Family Development, Men Overcoming Violence, and the New College Clinic. I am a clinical life member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a clinical member of the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Therapists Association of the Bay Area. In addition to maintaining my practice, I am a Research Counselor at the UCSF AIDS Health Project. | ||||||||||||
